F. Character Overview

An incredibly social, charming, patient, and loyal elf, Akunosh prefers the company of his friends or his wife if not on the battlefield. When he is forced to fight, he is ever vigilant and sturdy, never backing down to defend the weak or those he loves. Akunosh is 160 years old.

G. Ability

Akunosh's abilities include holy, clerical (such as healing), and few elemental magics. He has learned to become quite efficient with his magic, especially with his family gift of a long line of powerful paladins and mages. However, he does not rely totally on magic. During his lifetime, he has become a master with the sword at the cost of not being proficient with almost any other weapon (lance aside). He loves to duel-wield weapons, giving him in edge in combat, but is still an excellent single-blade fighter. Akunosh's ties with the military has gained him access to many tutors and mentors, through which his physical and magical prowess has become stronger.

H. Physiology

Akunosh is around 6 feet tall, weighs 135 pounds (205 with all of his gear), has a smooth and strikingly charming face, blonde waist-length hair, and emerald eyes. His clothes normally consist of simple robes that barely distinguish him as a noble, and never parts from any sort of armor.

I. History

The Inarus Family:

The Inarus family traces its roots several thousand generations back to when the Arthanian elves first began to discover magic. Khensthoth Inarus (the son of Siriuthian himself), the founder of the family, was an extremely powerful and influential paladin, serving as the personal advisor to the emperor of the Arthanian Empire. From what few documents remain, or what little is known apart from legends, it was determined that this paladin had a very acumen tie to magic, far more powerful than most of the masters who taught at the magic academies at that time. He was also a skilled and formidable warrior, one with honor, courage, integrity, and loyalty to his emperor. For several decades he remained as the advisor to the emperor until he decided to retire from the political business.

He fell in love and married another High Elf named Turwaithiel Sieral'iha. Nothing was significant was heard about the Inarus family until two centuries later when the First Great War began. Immediately, the emperor asked for Khensthoth to return, and he did. As a General and advisor, he led the Arthanians through countless victories while sustaining few defeats. The other two fronts, however, didn't fare as well, and it wasn't for another century before the three fronts joined together and continued the advance to the demon homeworld. Khensthoth would've continued his advance, but for reasons unknown, the emperor ordered him off of the front lines the moment the El'th'norann portals collapsed, ending the two century war. He was rushed home and applauded as a major war hero.

For thousands of more generations, the Inarus family became well known for their acumen sensitivity with magic and their unmatched skill with melee combat.

Akunosh II:

Akunosh was born 160 years ago to a rich, powerful, and noble High Elf family in a massive city named Is'uldul in another realm named Cha'arduun. Cha'arduun was heavily populated by Elves and other immortal creatures in the northern part of the known land, whilst the southern part was even more populated by fiends, such as goblins, trolls, orcs, and demons. When Akunosh was old enough to hold a sword, his father, Akunosh Inarus I, immediately began to train him in combat. When he was around 12 years old, he began to learn how to channel his family's magical inheritance into clerical and holy spells. Once Akunosh II was 18 years old, he applied to and was accepted by the Is'uldul Military Academy, where he graduated first in his class and received a commision as a full Lieutenant. The rest of his life is shrouded in mystery, but his noble and military ranks rose swiftly.

The reason why Akunosh left Is'uldul and Cha'arduun remains a mystery that he has yet to reveal.

J. Mannerisms

Akunosh is a noble, polite, and charming elf, never passing up the opportunity to help those in need. He can usually be found either talking amongst friends, spending time with his wife, practicing magic and sword combat, or in the tavern, catching up on the latest news.

K. Properties of Choice

Saint Khensthoth's Great Sword - wielded by the first Inarus, Khensthoth, this holy sword is one of legend and fame. The eight foot pure white blade and two foot golden hilt radiate of pure holiness. Many mystic runes are carved along the sword's length by unknown means. The sword bears an enchantment that allows only those of the Inarus blood to wield it effectively. To an Inarus, the sword weighs as much as a mithril longsword; but to anyone else, the sword weighs close to a thousand pounds. Unless Akunosh requires its use, this sword is kept at the Inarus Estate.

White Flame - Akunosh's holy long sword. The blade is wrought of mithril and has been purified and blessed at the Temple of the Dragon. The entire sword is white, and a permanent enchantment has allowed holy white flames to run along the length of the blade.

Pendant of Salvation - this simple necklace is comparable to a ruby two inches in diameter with an enchantment that amplifies the wearer's holy and healing spells.

Ring of Holy Light - this simple, silver ring bears a powerful enchantment that creates a blinding light of holy powers to encapsulate the user. It causes aggravated damage against undead while healing the wielder's allies.

Akunosh's Ward - Akunosh's black kite shield is forged from mythril with overlaying black dragon scales. His coat-of-arms was emblazoned in the center of the shield for decorative effects. The shield was forged in T'Gatherin'.

L. Sociology

Being extremely social and an extrovert, his friends are quite numerous, on the verge of being innumerable. His wife is an Amentan, named zipcat.

M. Clothing/Armor

Akunosh has recently recovered Khensthoth Inarus's personal armor: the Righteous Defender. It was forged many thousands of years ago and has been worn by the paladins in the Inarus family ever since. However, the armor was lost during the War of the Crimson Dawn until Akunosh recently stumbled across it in P'leik. The plate mail is black, red, and gold in appearance, each color serving a distinguished purpose. The color black is often associated with shadow and necromantic spells, the very spells wielded by a paladin's enemies; an enchantment woven into the armor provides a strong resistance against these spells. Red is associated with fire spells, also commonly used by his enemies; a second enchantment provides a moderate resistance against fire spells. Finally, gold can be associated with holy spells; the third enchantment increases the power of the paladin's holy spells.

Worn over his armor is a black wool cloak. A simple enchantment woven into the cloak makes it as durable as chainmail armor.

When not in combat, Akunosh prefers to wear a simple clothing, such as pants and a tunic with a cloak.
